Shellshock: TMNT Fan Art Show

The first time I went to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan art show they had the turtle van sitting out front. That was a site to see. That was probably around the same time as Comic Con 2013. Last night, Thumbprint Gallery held another TMNT art show at Bar Basic just around the corner of Comic Con 2015. The show featured a lot of great artists, my favorite part was watching an artist (forgot to ask for her name) paint an image of Master Splinter backward on glass. You'll see what I mean when you scroll down to see the images. There was also a live male model on display and artists sat around with their drawing pad. Anyone could've joined, that would've been something really fun to do with your friends and see who can doodle better.

The backward painting, see how they are solid colors on the glass?

At first glance I thought to myself "Osama?" which wouldn't make any sense, then I realized it must be Donatello!! Great shit.

Right away I knew who made these pieces, E. Vil. The style is undeniably his.
