We were hit with a heat wave over the weekend in San Diego and that made me want to hide under a rock somewhere. But that didn't happen, not because I can't fit under a rock. I decided to shoot some new photos for my new photo series titled "Inked." A series of portraits of some people I know that has tattoos which will include some old photos I've taken over the years and some new ones which is a work in progress.
This past Saturday I met up with Brandon of Momma's Boy Co. to get some photos done. Originally we were supposed to meet at Ironside but Little Italy had a Farmer's Market going on and parking was near impossible. We ended up on 13th and G Street, where his pops live. The Art Loft, an industrial looking building filled with offices, studios, and lofts. Upon walking in I had a feeling I belong in this building, no air condition but there's a fan and big windows. Mario (Brandon's dad) lives on the 2nd floor. He looked young enough to be Brandon's brother and they act like one too. His house was filled with art and fun stuff, like a fun house. If I didn't know better I would think the loft belonged to a 26 year old. I fell in love with the building and his loft so I took some photos with my iPhone to share with you guys.
