MCASD La Jolla

Thanks Adrienne (spelled your name right this time) for the ticket to MCASD Little Italy and La Jolla.

Spent the afternoon at MCASD La Jolla before my run yesterday to see what it's all about. I admit there were some pieces that I just stared at wondering what the fuck is it or why? But what I've learned over the years that art is not like people, where you have to understand, you just have to admire. That's just the way I see it. MY friend Senz Wen, a great fucking artist who doesn't want to be considered as an artist. I would ask him, "what does this piece mean?" and he shrugs his shoulders and say, "nothing, it's not supposed to mean anything, I just make it." I love the beauty in it. But of course we have other artist with deep meanings and religious or political statements but that kinda sound like propaganda to me. I was truly inspired by the art I saw yesterday that I came up with two new themes for my upcoming photo show, I  just have to start shooting.

I really like this a lot. I guess the cut out is to have you use your imagination and see art in your own perspective. Nature is beautiful already, see it through your own frame, that's how I see it anyways.
