It's 12:47am out here in Connecticut and 9:48pm back in Cali. I'm tired, I want to go straight to sleep but I gotta get this out before I rest my head. Lets be clear, this trip to CT is not a vacation, it's not traveling, I came out here to restore the love, the relation, the brotherhood, to remind my fam (can't be name but you know exactly who you is) that I (we) love you. I never wrote you, I know I'm bad at that, but not a day goes by you don't cross my mind. I wish to know everything about your time or what you did to cope with things but I just wanna start with today, and move forward together. I came out here to show my fam that we will always be the kids running around the house, jumping off roofs and playing ninja turtle toys. We came a long way, I pray for a better future for us all, together. This is important for me to restore this relation because I've cut out so many people in my life, friends and families. Sometimes you just have to move on if they are not willing to grow with you. But this here, whatever we have left in ourselves, its more than enough remain close and elevate in life together G. Stay the fuck up! You got our support.
Now that I got that open letter out of the way, I can resume with my blog. Connecticut is not what I expected, but its cool out here. They have a lot of Dominican, Puerto Ricans, Cubans, and Peruvian out here. Well that depends on where you're at. The black girls out here are mad cute, so far the people (some of them) have been very nice. The semi truck drivers out here drive like they are driving little race cars back in Cali. They speed out here! They switch lanes left and right out there, you do not want to get in their way because the tail gate out here! I had a really good sleep last night. Not like other places I've traveled to, in Connecticut I was able to sleep comfortably and slept in till 11 AM. We visit the uncle Big Kamani who moved out here 7 years ago at Sonny's Barber shop. Found out that a few of my friends moved out to CT as well, but not even sure I'll get to see them. It was just quality time with family today and a little bit of site seeing and a lot of food actually. As soon as I get this post done I'm off to bed.
Went back to the hotel to rest a bit and met up with our Uncle Kamani for dinner at the World of Beer. At a out door mall that is kinda like La Jolla in San Diego, meaning rich people area. I wanted to get some good wings so we came here, and they had good beers too.
