North Park Art Night & Freshyard Re-Grand Opening

In case you haven't noticed I've been MIA for a while. I've been hiding in plain sites, moved strategically to avoid being seen. In and out of restaurants and back at home. What's my reason? I just simply enjoy quiet time now-a-days. But! That wasn't the case Saturday night. I had to get back into the world and socialize with my fellow creatives and entrepreneurs. Freshyard recently relocated to a new shop across the street from their old shop, right next to Visual and 9five. They were having a re-grand opening party featuring art work by Keemo & E.vil for the 30 Block North Park Art Walk. Such a cool concept to have all the stores involved in the art walk, it definitely get a lot of people out there walking store to store,

First, I met up with Mike and Maggie for some coffee at Halcyon. This was my first time there. Such an odd place because It used to be an area you do not want to catch yourself walking through. The streets is full of homeless and crack heads, don't believe me? Just spend at least 5 minutes on the side walk and you'll spot a crack head hitting the pipe right in front of you or across the street. But this area is being renovated with new homes, park, and the coffee shop.

We ended our night at Med Cafe for some shisha. Med Cafe recently renovated their place to accommodate their customers. Great place for Mediterranean food by the way, no hype, no lies. Its a hidden gem.
