What an exhausting day in Iwakuni and Hiroshima with Jay and Kim. Stayed up late drinking, didn't get much sleep. We were basically zombies the whole day but we managed to get through it. We had breakfast at Mc Donald's again, same shit for me cuz It's pretty damn good, I can't wait for their lunch menu though, haven's had it since we been back in Japan. I am currently sitting in a train ride back to Tokyo. Thought I can knock out some writing while I have time. After breakfast we took a fairy out to an island called Miyajima where the deers rome free and unafraid of the humans. Sad they cut off their antlers though. On that island we went to an Owl Cafe and Cat Cafe. I love the owls, seeing them up close was cool but a bit sad they were tied down and used as amusement. I wanted to free the birds. We definitely can't have that back in the States. We have liabilities, law suits, and PETA will go hard. Ate some oysters at an unknown restaurants. It's all in Japanese and I didn't bother googling it to find out. Took a short hike up the mountains to get on one of those Sky Tram just to get to the top of the mountains for the view, you'll see soon enough from the photos. We managed to do all this while being zombies.
After getting off the island we hopped on a train to Hiroshima to visit the bomb site. I really wanted to see it but I didn't expect to get that emotional. I wanted to cry thinking of all the people/family suffered that day, innocent people died just to end the war with Japan, war sucks people, war sucks.
After an emotional visit we headed out to the mall to do a little bit of shopping. Wanted to visit Bape to see if they have what I wanted but they didn't. It was definitely a smaller store. Later in the evening Jay decided to take us to a restaurant called The Lock Up. I've seen it on T.V before but I do not know much about it. Should've done my research because we were all caught by surprise. It was dark, loud, scary! They put us in a dark room first to get scared, if you were following my Instagram you can see them on my IG story before it deletes. They lock you in a room like a jail cell. Then it gets dark again, loud music with a ghost girl's voice talking through the speaker, that shit sound scary as fuck. Then "monsters" come by our cell one at a time to scare us. Some of them didn't bother to stay to scare us cuz we didn't have the reaction they were looking for. I can hear Japanese girls screen from the room across from us and down the hall. The chrome Skull guy was nice enough to stay scaring us while I tried to get my damn phone camera to work hahaha. Shit was funny. We finally ordered our food and enjoyed every bit of it. Cost us about $200 since we ordered so much food. Correction, Kim ordered too much food hahaha. Home girl can eat, Hi Kim!! I know she'll be reading this.
So long Jay and Kim!! Thank you so much for having us!! We did look like zombies but we did have fun!!
