What a busy day it was!! I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day. To me, it's an ordinary day meaning I don't celebrate that shit but I didn't want Lupita feeling left out just cuz so I don't care for it so I did the typical things. Flowers, Pizza, Wine, and a movie in the comfort of my home. Oh yeah, I got her a cute photo book of our photos in it, she loved that one a lot! Buying flowers was quite embarrassing though. I stood in line among other men with flowers in their hands and I'm trying to hide my face so no one can see me. I'm still not sure why I feel that way about buying flowers lol.
Anyways! I spent the day off shopping for picture frames for the upcoming show I'll be in at Parc & Rec. February 23rd 9pm, come through ya'll! Frames can be so expensive but thanks to Mr. Mention I went to IKEA and damn they are sooooo cheap!! Bought 6 big frames without hurting my pockets, thanks Mr. Mention! Getting ready for a show can be hectic sometimes, especially when things don't go your way, can get stressful. But I stress over it even if it was working out anyways, perfectionist. Cruised up and down San Diego just to get some additional photos ready to print and it took up most of my day. I wanted to go to Soda & Swine NP to visit Chef Danny but it didn't look like I had time till my brother texted me telling me he's there. So at 8 PM we finally made our way down to visit and I'm so glad we did. Chef Danny met my girlfriend for the first time. He welcomed her to the family with open arms, and shots of Tequila (lol). Oh he even showered us with treats! He wanted me to try their new milk shake that is not on the menu yet, but I don't eat that kind of stuff but luckily Lupita does. I actually thought he wanted me to come back later to try it but he meant the same day. As we were chillin' at the bar next door (Polite Provisions) he brought out this tall, colorful, bright, milk shake covered in cotton candy and sprinkles. I'm watching this thing coming towards us an di can see Lupita's face lit up and locked in on the milk shake. She was surprised and wasted no time sitting in the chair in front of it. All night she didn't want to take a seat, but it took a milk shake to do that? The milk shake is not on the menu yet but you can still order it, It's called A Trip To The Carnival. I had some and I gotta say, this thing look really sweet but it was perfect. The milk shake taste like cotton candy and the flavor was well balanced. Unless I was too drunk to even know what I was eating but usually desserts are too sweet for me reason why I don't like them. Cotton candies are really sweet too but that's one of my favorite sweets to eat, lets face it, I'm a walking contradiction. Next came a red cake, assuming it was red velvet. Everything was a blur at this point cuz I'm pretty sure I was too buzzed to know what's going on. Oh by the way, Mr. Brownstone drink from Polite Provision is my new favorite drink there. You must get it if you ever visit.
