Some of you may remember the first time I went to Beshock Ramen. It’s been a long time since I’ve been back and I totally forgot how good they are. So some of you may know I’ll be moving into my own house all alone and I’ve been spending a lot of time renovating it since January 1st. I’ve mentioned it on Facebook and Instagram, I even started a new account dedicated to the renovation progress. I don’t recall writing about it.
I took some days off to get some work done this past weekend. Spent 12 hours a day painting and sanding down the house. It’s coming along well, but I’m beginning to get really tired!
Woke up early on Monday, I couldn’t sleep in. I’ve been dreaming of the house every single night, it’s like that’s all I think about. I don’t feel like I am, but seriously, every night I dream I’m inside that house. I took a break around noon to meet up with Chef Tony of Underbelly North Park. Surprisingly Tony have not been to Beshock Ramen so that’s where we went.
It was a beautiful day for Ramen, cold and rainy. I was reminded how good it taste and left me wondering how come there’s no hype around this. Beshock Ramen won so many ramen rewards, every year or something like that. They do get busy during dinner but I guess I shouldn’t complain. They are busy enough to stay open and they are not too busy to seat you down quickly. And I’m telling y’all, their food is amazing!!! I went twice in one day! Okay, I went back cuz Erika didn’t want to come with Tony and I and saw how good they looked on my IG and all of a sudden she wanted that for dinner. So I went back with Erika but got the calamari and pork buns, bomb!
