Bali remind me so much of Thailand and Cambodia. I have yet to see the super beautiful side that we see on social media and advertisement. We’ve been staying in the country side among the locals, hidden in the dirt alley behind the small homes. You’d find nice homes in the back covered by trees and bamboos. Its hot during the day and night and then it gets cold by midnight and morning. To cross the street, you just have to say “fuck it” and cross and hope not to get hit by a car haha. And you know what’s crazy? There’s rarely any traffic lights and order but no accidents! If American was to drive these streets, they’d crash every second of the day.
The whole crew arrived finally and all met up for our big intro dinner to Bali. I just called it an intro dinner cuz it’s the first night we’re all together for dinner. We went to a place called Balinese Home Cooking, food was aight. We all shared the food, well, basically all fought for a piece lol. We thought it was family portion, maybe it was, and we are just a bunch of fat asses lol.
I normally like to stay away from tourist activities and all we’ve been doing really are tourist stuff. The restaurant we went to was a tourist attraction, and the next morning we went to Monkey Forest, another tourist attraction.
