AH! I can’t believe I haven’t tried this till yesterday!! I tried Tostilocos not too long ago and here I am, San Diego native, a local to these neighborhood but never had this fucking Fruitilocos. Shame on me!! It was sooo good! Be Fresh located on Logan Ave and 47th Street. It was delicious and so refreshing, thanks for my home girl Marla for putting me on game.
First weekend with no photoshoots, I get to relax and do absolutely nothing. I stayed up pretty late for a friend's birthday party at El Camino last night. Had to wake up super early though, but it's all good, it was all worth it.
Started off with coffee at Young Hickory in Downtown and then lunch at Lola 55. They are fairly new, located at the IDEA1 building, heard great things so I had to try it. Ordered four tacos, Ribeye Carne Asada, Rainbow Cauliflower, Baby Carrots Adobada, and Smoked Carnitas. My immediate favorite was the Ribeye Carne Asada. Super juicy, flavorful, and if ya'll sensitive to spice, these tacos are nicely heated. I highly recommend this joint, perfect place for a date or just to eat. Thank me later.
I’m currently sitting inside a coffee shop in downtown to kill sometime and decided to do a Click Click post. Mine as well start with Lupita. Side note, that has nothing to do with this post, maybe it does maybe it doesn’t but its great living a life with no anger in my heart. I feel free from emotions controlling me. Bless.
Some of these photos were released at my latest photo show and some were shot for La Familia Clothing company.
One year later I’m finally going to have this photo show of the pictures I took out in Thailand and Japan. Featuring images of the Japanese Low rider culture in Osaka. I promise this will happen somewhere between Jan-Feb 2019 at 5&A Dime.
Huge thank you to 9Five for having me as the featured artist at their store Saturday for the North Park Art Night. Shout out to Tiffany for locking that down for me. Shooting for this show was alot of fun. I enjoyed working with all the models and for some reason, shooting all these colors makes me super happy.
Thank you for coming to the show! It was really nice to meet new faces and see familiar faces that have been supporting all these years. Next show will be Thailand/Japan photo show and then Food Porn. Unless I have something that pops up in between. Thanks again for coming.
In case you didn’t know, the photos from the Color show is now up on the site. And these are the photos I picked to display. I realized I’m missing one photo of Alejandra. I’ll update this blog post once I get a hold of that photo of her.
All photos were shot with my Canon AE1 with a 50mm Lens.
Just a little preview from the Color Show photo shoots with Alejandra. I will have the rest of the collection in a new online gallery the day after The Color Show Oct 27th. It’s at 9Five North Park, come through!
This artist started following me on IG and he just dropped this track and I love it.
I remember growing up I’ve always wanted to be on the news or magazines and radio station for for the things we do. Either photography, community service, music, art, etc. It was always a dream growing up and I’m sure most of ya’ll can relate. I accomplished some of those dreams, and I’m proud to share these images of Rossi Rock at the radio station for an interview! People always talk about how local station in SD don’t support local artist. Maybe they do, it just takes alot of hard work to be recognized. Beto Perez and Tha Kid Reckless was kind enough to take the Suav crew in the station and kicked down some valuable knowledge. Rossi has been making alot of noise on social media thanks to all his fans. Beside that Rossi and Beto Perez knew each other, the support from Rossi’s fan got the station’s attention.
A little over a week ago my car broke down leaving Mt. Julian and cost me a pretty penny to get it towed and fixed. Special thanks for Mike Kevin for taking care of the car for me and my brother and Rhandy for the assist on the car. I got a new clutch so my brother and I decided to go out for a drive again.
It was a busy day, didn't get home till 11 PM and I left the house around 7:30 AM.
I just had an awesome photo shoot with Hailey yesterday and I cannot wait to see all the photos. Dropped off 12 rolls to Nelson Photo and I still have one more shoot to do, a reunion shoot. Someone I shot two years ago, resurfaced in my life again and we’re going to shoot for the first time in 2 years.
I accepted the offer to have an art show at 9Five North Park a few weeks ago with nothing to show. Food Porn Vol 3 is reserved for 5&A Dime and Thailand/Japan photos are reserved for 5&A Dime or Por Vida, still haven’t decided on that. I’m almost done with the Color project for Oct 27th. I have two more shoots on Wednesday and possibly one more when the last model find a yellow lipstick. After that I’ll have to get the film processed, go through them and decide which one to print, buy frames, anddd sell my soul for money since my damn car took up a rack from my funds. I could’ve held off on the car but I really wanted to get it running again so it had to be done.
Shot Tiffany Green over the weekend with Brennan from Bout It to shoot some behind the scenes for an upcoming interview he has been working on.
This song is so good!
I’m excited to write this post today, for a couple of reasons. I’ve been very busy with photo shoots and it’s going well, with the love and support I have from ya’ll I’m feeling high and when I’m feeling low ya’ll are there to lift me up. I had a really good weekend, I hope ya’ll had a good one too. I spent Friday evening with Jason Waterfalls, hung out right outside of El Camino. We don’t get to hang out often so in order for us to have a one on one I’d have to come out to El Camino and chop it up across the street. Never a dull moment with Jay, we always have stuff to talk about. Street wear politics and personal shit we might have to get off our chest.
My photo shoot on Saturday was cancelled, I really hate when that happens especially when I have a deadline to meet. But lately, the things that doesn’t work out seem to work out for the best. Spent that time catching up with someone special and it was a nice change of pace. So we went to the music festival in National City together to watch Rossi Rock perform.
Sunday morning my brother and I woke up early for a nice drive to Mt. Julian. We have a road trip coming up in November. PCH all the way to San Francisco so I wanted to make sure my car drives well before taking that long drive. My brother Dook just got an s2000 so this was his first time taking his car out on a drive like this. I had a dream my car broke down too so I wanted to make sure my shit don’t break down on The PCH miles and miles away. The drive was super nice and peaceful. The excitement all up in my guts on every turn and acceleration, the people out there were so nice. On our way home, we took a turn to a quiet street to check out a corner shop and boom, my clutch pedal got stuck to the wall, my clutch was done. After inspecting the car I think, and hope it’s just the master clutch cylinder. Which I have the new one sitting at home since its long over due to be replaced. I had a good time anyways, it was an expensive tow but fuck it, this comes with the territory. Once I get that fixed (hopefully today) I will be taking it out again to Mt Julian.
New Music Friday on Spotify was so wack I went to Youtube and watched Colors playlist. Found some really good music. Never heard of this guy but I absolutely love it.
I’ve had this idea in my head for a while now, it took me a very long time to do it cuz as much as I love the Marlboro Livery on a F1 car, homage to Senna, I just couldn’t convince myself to have a White and Red car. I went to a car meet at Ski Beach not too long ago and a Fiat has this livery in Black and White, what do you know! Marlboro has a Marlboro Black pack! lol. By the way guys, I quit smoking, cold turkey, one month strong now! Woohoo!
Anyways, instead of wrapping the Black, my Purple car is dark enough to be black in the shade and the Purple is not so bad! I finally did it guys! Of course I switched up a few things on there to promote my company Hanuit and my friends brand Suav, Auto Fashion USA, 5&A Dime, Outsiders, and Jongbloed Racing Wheels. I also did this for a road trip my brother and I are planning in November. He got an s2000 now and we wanna take it on the PCH for a nice drive to SF. I cannot wait!! I even got the maintenance I needed done and finally installed my new suspension (Thanks Mikey).
Fresh Auto Haus did the wrap, new in town. They are located on Mira Mesa BLVD and they’re having a grand opening this Sunday! I’ll have a few of my Food Porn pictures from Vol 2 on display just for kicks.

I’m excited about these photos. I did a photo shoot with Marissa last Sunday and took a few Click Click photos of her before we began. The shoot was for Monzu Fresh Pasta and I’m extremely happy with the results, and that’s a rare occasion. I’ll post the Monzu Fresh Pasta of Marissa later on the Monzu Gallery for ya’ll to see but for now I’m still in the process of staring at the photos for 2-3 days to decide on which one to print out for them.
These photos were taken with my new Canon AE-1 with the new 50mm lens I got. I just love the depth of field on the 50mm lens, and the color is on point! Shot inside Copa Vida and outside of Monzu Fresh Pasta.
I’ve met Rosa soon after Food Porn Vol 2 was done with. I’ve met a lot of new people after that show that wants to be a part of Food Porn. It’s been a great but strange journey. I remember I would have to explain myself every time I approach someone about Food Porn and now, I just get a lot of DMs from models who understand and love what I’m doing with Food Porn. I really like to take portraits of people, and Food Porn is just a way for me to be creative, fun, make eating food look sexy, and to entertain people with. Because doing the same thing over and over can get boring, so I like to try different things.
Rosa and I talked a few times on Instagram, we just clicked. I need that chemistry with the models in order to take good photos with them. Next thing you know we were in North Park shooting for Food Porn Vol 3, and then we shot again for her Patreon account and I might use some of it for Food Porn Vol 3, maybe not. It’s so funny, out of all the times we’ve met up for a photo shoot she was half naked in her model mode. This time I met up with Rosa for coffee and just to hangout and she had just got her haircut a few hours before meeting up and she looked great! I had my camera on me so I busted it out and took some photos of her inside Copa Vida in Downtown San Diego.
